Background[]

Born to a novice knight, Shasta was sent to a cadet school affiliated with the Order of the Dark Knights once he reached a sufficient age to wield a wooden sword. At the cadet school, Shasta attained victory after victory in the selection tests, resulting in him being scouted by commander of the knights at the time.

At around the age of twenty, following the survival of the commander in a battle against Integrity Knight Bercouli Synthesis One, Shasta was ordered by his master to kill him in combat, in order to impart the knowledge of incarnation that the latter had learnt from his battle against Bercouli. While Shasta was able to defeat his master, the incarnation the latter had exhibited during the battle left an unhealing scar on Shasta’s cheek, allowing the disciple to experience the power of willpower with his own body.

Years later, at the age of thirty-seven, Shasta faced Bercouli in battle himself, resolved for his death during the encounter, ensuring that he would not burden a disciple with the fate of killing their master. However, during the battle, Shasta displayed incarnation strong enough for his sword to face Bercouli’s without being deflected, thus impressing the Integrity Knight. At that point, Shasta was informed by his opponent that mere killing intent would not have been able to achieve such a feat. The battle then ended peacefully with Shasta being advised to contemplate on this thought until their next encounter, before the Integrity Knight took his leave.

Alicization Invading

One day on the 11th Month of the Human Empire Calendar, Vixur Ul Shasta received a report from his subordinate, Lipia, on the death of Quinella. Hearing this news, Shasta claimed that it was their chance for peace, explaining how a war with the Human Empire would lead to numerous casualties and the resulting imbalance among the races of the Dark Territory would lead to another age of conflict. Shasta revealed that he planned to kill four other lords, including D.I.L., in his pursuit of peace.

After a short moment of silence, Shasta changed the topic and proposed to Lipia, but they were suddenly informed of the throne room lock quivering. Along with the other lords, Shasta came to the throne room, where they found Gabriel Miller, logged in as Emperor Vecta, on the throne. When it was Shasta’s turn to introduce himself to Emperor Vecta, Shasta inquired on Vecta’s intentions. Hearing that the emperor desired war, Shasta was the only one who remained kneeling among the war cries of the other lords.

Two days after Lipia’s death, Shasta and the other lords were summoned to the throne room. As Shasta was about to attack Vecta to salvage the opportunity for peace, he and the other lords were informed of an assassination attempt on Vecta that took place to days prior. Enraged by the sight of Lipia’s frozen head that Vecta displayed a few moments later, Shasta drew his sword, the «Oborogasumi», unconsciously activating its Armament Full Control state. However, before Shasta could execute his attack, he was struck by a needle filled with highly-lethal poison, thrown at him by the Assassin’s Guild’s leader, Fu Za.

Yet, just as Shasta died, his will unleashed the recollection release ability of his sword. This created a ravaging tornado that directly assaulted the Fluctlights of anything it made contact with, including Fu Za, the Mountain Goblin Chief Hagashi, the Plains Goblin Chief Kubiri, as well as D.I.L’s right leg, before it stopped expanding and formed an image of Shasta’s body. At that moment, the visual of Shasta launched its fist upon the Dark Emperor; however, Shasta’s will was unable to affect the endless abyss of Gabriel’s Fluctlight and was instead absorbed and vaporised by it.

Trivia

• When the Sword Art Online VRMMORPG game was first sold, it had a recommended age rating of 14+. However, there were players who were below the recommended age rating on the first day of the official SAO service, such as Silica, who was twelve at the time, or the children at the church in the Town of Beginnings.
• During the SAO Incident, the Sword Art Online servers were used by RECT Progress Inc. to create ALfheim Online.
• SAO only allows for English alphabet to be used for names, therefore all players use English or romanized names.
• Heathcliff revealed that he had acquired a lot of inspiration from a game called Wizardry. It is likely that this inspiration had an impact on the development of Sword Art Online.
• In the web version of the story, 50,000 players were trapped in the game. This number was reduced to 10,000 in the published novel.

Ce mod ajoute une barre de vie semblable à l’animé SAO, en haut de votre écran. Elle est également disponible pour les mobs.

Lorsque vous perdrez de la vie, la jauge diminuera en fonction des dégâts apportés. Elle comporte 3 couleurs différentes, la couleur verte lorsque la barre de vie est complète, puis le jaune lorsqu’elle a baissé de moitié pour finir dans le rouge si vous êtes proche de la mort. Lorsque vous ne posséderez plus aucun point de vie, un message s’affichera en bas de l’écran :  « You Are Dead« . Joli petit clin d’œil !

Coordonées

En bas à droite de la barre de vie, vous pourrez voir 2 nombres entre crochets. Ils représentent les coordonnées X et Z. Très pratique pour revenir vers sa maison après quelques escapades souterraines ou en forêts.

Prisme Vert

Les mobs possèdent tous un prisme au-dessus de leur tête. Loin d’être une référence aux Sims, ce petit prisme vous permettra de déterminer le niveau d’hostilité d’une créature quelconque. Si ce prisme est vert, alors le mob qui se trouve devant vous est passif : il ne vous fera aucun mal.

Au contraire, si ce mob dispose d’un prisme rouge, alors il est dangereux et essayera de vous tuer par tous les moyens. Il vous faudra sortir votre arme ou courir.

Composant qui peut être extrait du crystallite bloc. Possible de crafter une seule épée, la « Dark Repulser » qui a +12 de dommages d’attaque. Minerai très dur à trouver puisque vraiment rare !

La Black Leather Hide peut être obtenue de la même façon que le cuir normal. Vous pouvez l’utiliser pour crafter l’armure de Kirito.

Background

Prior to official launch, «Sword Art Online» Closed Beta was available to 1,000 beta testers for a one month period from August to September 2022. During that period, «Sword Art Online» was lauded as an incredible experience, and it received extremely positive reviews despite the actual difficulty of the game. After the Closed Beta Testing ended, the Beta Testers were given the opportunity to pre-order the game.

Hardcore gamers, having waited three days in line to receive the much-anticipated first issue of Sword Art Online

Only 10,000 copies were printed in the first batch of the game, and online sales sold out within seconds. Hard-core gamers waited in line for days to purchase the first few hard copies from many stores.

«Sword Art Online» officially started server service at 13:00 on November 6, 2022 and obtained infamy when the creator succeeded in trapping 10,000 people in the game, and making it so that death in-game would mean actual death for the player. During the two-year period the game remained active, «Sword Art Online» evolved into an innovative yet complex society of individuals with mixed feelings about the possibility of clearing the game.

Psychologically, many players experienced extreme despair, grief, insanity and sadness during the course of the death game. Of the total 3,853 deaths, over half occurred in the first month of SAO. Combined with lethal dungeon traps and bosses, Player Killing (PKing), crime, suicides, a slowly dwindling population, and increasing difficulty on the higher floors, the prospects generally looked very bleak.

The game was prematurely ended on the 75th Floor, instead of the intended 100th Floor, when the final boss, Heathcliff, revealed to be Kayaba Akihiko himself, was defeated in a duel against Kirito. A total of 6,147 survivors were supposed to be logged out from it at 14:55 (Aincrad Standard Time) of November 7, 2024.
