The Health Window
A characters’s health is displayed in the health window, which is accessible by clicking the . When a injury is sustained, a Moodle will show up in the top right of the screen and the sound of a injury may be heard, and the corresponding ligament will be injured.
The body of the player is separated into 17 different sections:

Overall Body Status
Health Window of a uninjured player
The player’s overall health is displayed qualitatively as one of the following:

Walkthrough[]
First, you need to bandage Kate Smith’s broken leg. Go to the Wardrobe in the bedroom, take out the Bed sheets, and craft them into 8 Ripped sheets. Use the ripped sheets on Kate.
Then, you need to get some painkillers for Kate. Go into the bathroom, open the cabinet and take out the Painkillers. Give Kate a painkiller.
Next, you need to go to the shed and get some planks, nails, and a hammer, equip the hammer. After you get the items, come back home and start barricading the back door and all the windows in the first floor. Leave one door alone because you will have to get in and out of your house. After the first floor is secure, barricade the second floor windows, make sure that you don’t barricade the ones with curtains on them, because you can simply close the curtains to prevent zombies from seeing you.
Now go upstairs to Kate and go to sleep. In the morning you will have to leave the safety of the safehouse and find food. Leave the safehouse and go to the house to the east of your safehouse. In the house you will find your first zombie. Hold CTRL and click on the zombie to kill it. It takes 2-4 hits from the hammer to kill the zombie. Then, check the kitchen for food; you will find Canned soup in cupboards and Carrots and an Apple in the fridge. Return to the safehouse and go into the kitchen. Open all of the cupboards until you find a can opener and a Pot. Open the crafting table and craft a Pot of soup with the pot, can opener and canned soup. Put the pot of soup in the oven and turn it on. Afterwards, take the pot out and turn off the oven.
MAKE SURE YOU TURN OFF THE OVEN!
Finally, the radio will start playing. Walk upstairs to the bathroom and stay away from the window. While the radio is playing, find somewhere to hide that is away from the entrance because a raider will enter your house. After the radio transmission ends, a Raider will enter the safehouse. If he sees you, he will try to kill you! But if you are out of his line of sight, he will go upstairs and talk to Kate. Sneak out of the your hiding place. and hit him with the hammer. Loot the raider to get a Baseball bat, Lighter, a Shotgun and 36 Shotgun shells.
It is suggested that you equip the baseball bat as your primary weapon and the shotgun as the secondary. Despite the ability for the shotgun to potentially half a dozen zombies with one shell, the noise generated by the shotgun will attract zombies to your area. Use the shotgun only when you are surrounded by a horde of 15+ zombies.
Kate’s bleeding will heal over time after you finish the tutorial, but her leg will always remain broken, no matter how much time passes.

The Twitter account will mainly be used to notify users of major changes to the wiki, along with general information.
If you visit the wiki semi-frequently, you can see that the main page has been rejuvenated a bit, to make it look a little bit more sleek. Hopefully everybody will enjoy the changes that have been made. Should you seem something out of place, make sure to pass on a note to me. I’ll be sure to look into the issue. You can thank Bowlympicshero for the update to the front page and for his work, I introduced and awarded the Front Page Designer award, so congratulations to him.
Nightmare has put in considerable work into the Items page at the moment, adding class names, statistics and also doing translation work for the German version. It’s all been pretty impressive so props to him.

Community News 4 September, 2014
Hello again, time for another quick update as we integrate more and more items into the wiki. At the moment we’ve had a couple of users continue work on things such as the items page, which have been looking pretty impressive recently. In any case I figure I would do a quick rundown of what’s happened.
A project page has been created, but at the moment it’s just temp as I get more things written down and integrated for the use of projects. What are projects though?
Projects are supposed to be a centralized page in which leaders can create tasks and contributors can be on the same page. It allows people to know what should be focused on and what problems people are aware for. It allows for an easier standardization and a central discussion point on changes that can be made, whether info wise or design wise.
It will hopefully make people more encouraged to contribute to project and will give a central goal that people can work towards. I will be rolling it out in a couple of weeks time and bringing pages under certain projects. Nothing might happen (due to the number of consistent editors is certainly possible) but lets hope not.
Some of things we have pulled from MediaWiki are Ambox Templates, these offer new information boxes that people can access and use on pages to make things look a little bit more slick. Documentation has been included and you should find everything you need at Template:Ambox so be sure to check that out.
I will also be rolling out a new main page design that was spearheaded by Bowlympicshero tomorrow at some point. The final design (short of any objection) can be found:
As per the last post, I have been looking into user badges and I have in fact pulled over the user boxes template from MediaWiki as well. As a test run I have created an administrator user badge that can be found on my page here and Kirrus page as well. While there is a third admin by the name of Pianoman, due to his inactivity I have not put a badge on his profile. While Kirrus is an admin, anything to do with the wiki should be coming to me. Kirrus is here to make sure that the server boxes are running as smooth as possible and less to do with general editing around the wiki.

The nutritionist trait is only available during , costing 4 trait points, or can be picked up for free when choosing the fitness instructor occupation. The nutritionist trait allows the player to «see the nutritional values of any food», which can normally only be seen on food that is packaged.
Infection[]
Zombie Infection is a serious issue, being that it means your soon and untimely demise. It’s quite different from a regular infection caused by an open wound, flu, or food poisoning.
The game will never outright tell you that you are zombie infected. You will instead receive two moodles — Pain (immediately) and Sick (after 0-48 hours) after receiving physical damage (bite or scratch) from a Zombie. The progressing Sick moodle, increasing Pain, and decreasing Health are a giveaway for progressing zombie infection.
Zombie infection can be started by one of the following:
- Getting bitten by a zombie .
- Receiving a scratch by a zombie .
Although in-game radio and TV mention that zombie infection can also be spread in the air, without direct fluid contact, the character is lucky to be one of the few immune to this distribution method. (Though, this could also be a reference to the optional «Zombie Lore>Everyone’s Infected» Sandbox option.)
Getting bitten originally had a 100% chance (since update 0.1.4a) of you being inflicted with a zombie infection, but was later possibly modified to an unknown value (since update 0.1.4?). The majority of players claim it to be around 100%. There are no known and validated characters who have survived a zombie bite — but some claim to have survived. There is no official developer response regarding the chance.
Getting scratched by a zombie has a 25% chance of receiving the zombie infection, but may also be slightly modified since version 0.1.4?. To put the chance into perspective, scratches are more dangerous than playing Russian Roulette.

From the partially open game code, it is evident that the bite and infection are handled separately: infection is classified as a «non-lethal wound infection», and zombie infection is a bite. The file ISHealthPanel.lua references two internal functions: bodyPart:bitten() returning a boolean value and bodyPart:getBiteTime() which returns integer value. There are no known open functions that return a chance or probability to survive a bite, thus the bite is implied be fatal.

However, having the Pain or Sick moodles or decreasing Health alone does not necessary mean you are zombie-infected. You may instead have these for the following reasons :
- Pain Moodle : Cleaning the wound with alcohol or disinfectant and/or stitching the wound
- Sick Moodle: Contracting the regular flu by being too long out in the rain
- Decreasing Health: Deep infected wounds or serious flu. This can be compensated and overcome by staying well-fed, performing the wound disinfection and/or stitching, removing the glass fragments from the wound, and having plenty of sleep. Eventually the Health will stop draining and condition will improve.
True zombie infection will not stop draining health and will continuously intensify over time. There is currently no chance to cure the infection and no known survivors of the bite.

- This might have been me just getting sick after a scratch, but I had all the symptoms of the infection my health was draining and such, but I kept myself well fed and everything. (This was a muti-player server my friends thought i was going to die, but even tho I was eating a lot of food they did not blame me for wanting to keep my character it had been alive for a while. Besides I made like half the food. #basemaker) anyways I got to a sliver of health and then i started healing. Perhaps it was the trait that i had the sometimes acts like your infected? Does anyone know? Or was this unusual? Because since then it has never happened again

Зомби

Болезни растений
На текущий момент в игре есть три вида Болезней: Мучнистая роса, Тля и Фитофтороз.
- Все они замедляют рост растений, могут даже убить их.
- Больные растения дают меньший урожай, чем здоровые.
- С Мучнистой росой и Тлёй можно бороться с помощью соответствующих спреев.
- Фитофтороз неизлечим, все растения, зараженные этой болезнью должны быть выкопаны и пересажены заново.
Болезнь может возникнуть на саженцах самопроизвольно, но так же растение может заразиться от других растений в близкой доступности. Старайтесь лечить болезни сразу же, как её обнаружили, не откладывайте, иначе вы рискуете потерять все ваши саженцы.
Клубника особенно восприимчива к болезням, поэтому лучшим выходом будет сеять клубнику отдельно от других растений (и даже ограничивать такие зоны стенами) или отказаться от её выращивания вообще.
На пятом уровне Фермерства вы будете видеть пиктограммы, обозначающие болезни: Мушку — означающую, что растение заражено Тлёй или Красный крест сигнализирующий о Мучнистой росе. Заражена может быть не только вскопанная грядка, но и обычный кусок земли, поэтому сажать на таком участке растения будет плохой идеей. Выйти из положения можно посадив какое-нибудь быстрорастущее растение и сразу же вылечить болезнь спреем. (Работает только с 39 версии)

Fitness | Fitness increases a multitude of player abilities. It reduces loss, increases Endurance recovery, increases movement and attack speeds, reduces damage from long falls, increases chance to push a zombie off when attacked and reduces stagger and trip chance when a zombie lunges after falling over a window or fence.
Fitness can be leveled by sprinting(50/50 chance to gain XP in Fitness or Sprinting every XP update while running), doing Fitness Exercises and using melee attacks while the player is not overexerted.
Please note that Endurance Loss Multiplier is not exact, as endurance loss has multiple calculations. |

Молоток это основной инструмент в строительстве/баррикадировании в Project Zomboid, поэтому необходимо искать его с самого начала игры. Молоток иногда трудно найти, больше всего шансов найти его в — ищите их в гаражах около домов или складах (warehouses). Также необходимо найти гвозди, доски и, если возможно, топор и пилу. Гвозди обычно можно найти в том же месте, где и молоток — гаражи являются хорошим источником большого количества гвоздей. Деревянные доски найти немного сложнее. Иногда их можно найти в ящиках, но самый лучший способ их добычи это найти топор и пилу, и начать рубить деревья. Теоретически, любым оружием можно срубить дерево, но топор является самым эффективным. Имея в инвентаре топор, нажимаем правым кликом по дереву, выбираем «срубить дерево» и подбираем выпавшие бревна. Будьте осторожны, так как рубка деревьев издает шум, что может привлечь зомби. Теперь необходимо превратить бревна в деревянные доски для того чтобы использовать их как строительные материалы (или для баррикадирования). Нажимаем правый клик на пиле или бревнах и выбираем опцию «пилить бревна» в контекстном меню.
Также добыть ресурсы можно путем разрушения уже существующих построек. Так, разрушением дверей можно получить дверные петли, дверные ручки и доски.
