Action Figures

Once you collect 5 action figures that character will be unlocked for use in the game. From that point on all the action figures that remain in that save file will provide XP. So its a good idea to look for them even after you get the character.

Black Panther
Mission	Location
Stark Tower	After defeating the Omega Base mission access is granted to Iron Man’s Lab. Enter the lab and go down the stairs the action figure is under the first set of stairs.
Atlantis	In the dive chamber across from the entry point. (If you don’t get this one I don’t think there is a way to come back later and collect it).
Valley of Spirits	This action figure is behind destructible Buddha statues at the end of the Forbidden Passage just before entrance toMandarin’s Court.
Murderworld	Go through door 3 in the Fun House. In this area the exit will be blocked and clowns will attack. Destroy the clowns and walk toward the flowers along the wall and search for the action figure around the middle flower. It is difficult to see but I promise it is there.
Mephisto’s Realm	In the portion of the realm where the Book of Majernik says «Whilst thy name is carven in stone, thy shall be invincible,» the action figure is in a grave to the rear of the the area.
Bifrost Bridge	Early in the level you should come across a ship. At the right end of the ship sits an action figure.
Courtyard of the Gods	After completing the Bifrost Bridge, you have access to the Hall of the Honored Fallen. In the far right portion of the hall there is an action figure.
Asgard	Move a statue in the East Wing and the West Wing. If both statues are in place a secret area is accessible at the end of the West Wing. The secret area has a weapon’s cache with an action figure.
Niffleheim	At the end of Spire’s Ascent after fighting Baron Mordo and Ultron do not immediately exit to Raven’s Spire. Instead, move through the now open gate and turn around and there you have it a well hidden action figure
Shi’ar Empire	Above a node that needs destroyed before reaching the trapped Lilandra. You can come back to it after making sure the area doesn’t self destruct
Dr. Doom’s Castle	After entering the area called Doom’s Lair there is a section with multiple side rooms the 2nd room on the left has a bookcase that leads to a secret path with a chest and the action figure
Daredevil
Omega Base	Down the stairs to the right just before the first gear of the drive train that needs destroyed
Atlantis	In the Atlantean Trenches just before entering the Atlantean Throne Room, free the trapped soldier from the clam. He will give you the combination to a safe located in a nearby submarine. Open the chest for an action figure
Valley of Spirits	In the portion of the Golden Court where the fire breathing statues are located, jump to the floor below and find an action figure in the center of the room along the wall with the aforementioned statues.
Sanctum Sanctorum	Go upstairs to the Sanctuary. The action figure is near the book Vision was requesting. The book is indicated by a large X.
Murderworld	In «Castle Doom» a Daredevil action figure is just after picking up the Mysterio disc. Its to the right of the entrance to the next portion of the castle. If you exit and are chased by the moving spiked wall the action figure has been missed (maybe until the next play through).
Mephisto’s Realm	The action figure is under a tree before you first encounter Ghost Rider.
Bifrost Bridge	Be sure to lift Odin’s left arm and you will find a weapon’s cache with an action figure.
Asgard	Early in the level just to the left of the first porch you find. This porch also houses a weapons cache with a skill point.
Niffleheim	There is a house near the end of the Shore of Corpses. The action figure is on the roof. Its right before entering the Battleground. The fire out side the house hasthe key to Volla’s chest Ulik and Kurse were trying to open.
Skrull Planet	After fighting Titannus you save a Skrull scientist by opening a couple of forcefields. The action figure is in the other room
Dr. Doom’s Castle	At the beginning you enter a room where bricks elevate from the floor. On either side there is a statue. Destroy the statue on the right and open the treasure chest. The Action figure appears on the pedestal where the statue was.

Character History

Eric Brooks was born in a whorehouse in the Soho neighborhood of London, England on July, 10th 1929. Eric’s mother, Tara Brooks, was a prostitute at Madame Vanity’s Brothel. When Tara experienced severe labor complications, a doctor was summoned who was in actuality Deacon Frost, a vampire who feasted on her during Eric’s birth and killed her. However, this inadvertently passed along certain enzymes in his own blood to the infant. This resulted in Eric’s quasi-vampiric abilities, including a greatly prolonged lifespan and the ability to sense supernatural creatures, as well as an immunity to complete vampirism. Brooks’ fellow prostitutes drove off Frost before he could kill the infant as well.

Eric grew up living at Madame Vanity’s, and at age nine, returning home from school one December, he saw an old man being attacked by three vampires. Eric helped the old man, who used a silver cane to kill the vampires and fight off the attackers. The man was Jamal Afari, a jazz trumpeter and vampire hunter who then moved into Madame Vanity’s and trained the young Eric in both music and combat.

Blade was soon able to defeat many of the weak, younger vampires that he and Afari found in abundance. Eric became an Olympic-level athlete and a formidable hand-to-hand combatant, with an expertise in edged weapons such as knives and daggers so notable that it earned him the nickname «Blade» among both his fellow hunters and the vampires they opposed, who began to fear the young hunter. One night he encounterd a type of vampire, a man named Micheal Morbius, who Blade fought but Morbius bit him. This enhanced his stregenth and he was able to overcome Morbius but he escaped.

In later years, Blade, along with Hannibal King and Frank Drake, became a frequent ally of the sorcerer Doctor Strange, and the three assisted Strange in battles with Dracula and the Darkholders and assisted in the casting of the Montesi Formula, which for a time destroyed all vampires on Earth. Blade, King, and Drake then formed the private detective agency Borderline Investigations, Inc. to combat supernatural threats. Alongside Doctor Strange, the three detectives battled the Darkholders again. Blade also rescued his close friend Safron Caulder from the Darkholders. The agency discontinued after Drake left and Blade was committed to a psychiatric hospital following a battle with a temporarily resurrected Dracula. Doctor Strange later arranged the release of Blade so that he could join Drake and King in reforming Borderline, Inc. as the Nightstalkers.

Trivia

• In n-Space (non-DS) versions, the character select mannequin file data of Iron Fist (also actor costume), Bishop, Cable and Electro are found unused and originally meant to be playable in those versions.
  • Cable’s playability could have been similar to Psylocke for being start out playable in non-DS n-Space versions by default, prior becoming one of the DLCs.
  • Bishop’s playability could have been similar to She-Hulk, due to being only playable on certain n-Space versions while remained NPC in primary Vicarious Visions gameplay version.
  • Electro’s playability in this version remained unknown, despite being a boss.
  • Befitting the similar roles they have in in primary Vicarious Visions gameplay version, both Bishop and Cable could have been locked in their respective sides and as a boss on certain mission stages prior being unlocked during Folds’ invasion.
  • Alternate costume was planned to be included in this version as well, but Activision and Marvel rush to release it without modeling alternate costumes.
• Unlike other MUA games and X-Men Legends series, MUA2’s team slots remained lock in four team members.

Story

Aprox. around 2014, a strike team called «Delta Team» lead by Nick Fury executed an unsanctioned S.H.I.E.L.D assault on Castle Doom in Doomstat in hopes to stop Lucia Von Bardas, the prime minister of Latveria, who was funding super-criminals. The strike team was made out of the heroes — Captain America, Ironman, Spider-man and Wolverine. Plus several other heroes. The team battled through the castle’s defenses in order to pick up an Audio Clip left by Black Widow. After they obtained it, they learned that there was a major power supply coming from the city. When the team made it to the power supply, it was originating from a Church. When the team entered the church in turned out the power was being generated by Electro. After the team took down Electro they headed to Castle Doom.

Traversing the streets the team passed the city and into a forest-like area. Near a waterfall, aattack helicopter came out of nowhere and attacked. The team destroyed theshelicopter and continued the attack. Accessing a nelevator, they came to the top of a building with two paths. The team headed left continued up the building and came the tastle gates, where they were confrouted by Scorcher and Wizard. After beating the villains, the team went forward to Castle Doom with Nick Fury saying «Lucia, we’re home».

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (2006)

Marvel Ultimate Alliance  — это action RPG, основанная на комиксах Marvel. Среди основных персонажей есть Люди Икс, Фантастическая четвёрка, Доктор Дум и даже Дэдпул. Ну конечно же никуда не обойтись без Тони Старка, Халка, Чёрной Пантеры, Капитана Америки, Ника Фьюри и прочих известных ребят.

В самой игре присутствует система бонусов, которые позволяют открывать заблокированных персонажей. Всего можно взять под контроль только четырёх супергероев и не более. Даются бонусы и за создание определённых команд, вроде тех же Мстителей, Фантастической Четвёрки, Людей Икс и прочих. Организация «ЩИТ» предоставляет также специальную игровую валюту, с помощью которой можно улучшать персонажей, модернизировать их способности и прибавлять различные функции.

Игроку доступен только один персонаж для управления, но он в любой момент может переключиться на остальных трёх. Пока герой управляется игроком, все остальные переходят под контроль ИИ. Иногда это приводит к багам, которые тормозят игровой процесс, но всё же выглядит весьма неплохо.

Помимо основных комбо-ударов главные герои обладают и так называемой «суперсилой». На эту силу уходят специальные очки… маны, которая восстанавливается потихоньку во время самого процесса игры. Некоторые герои даже обладают способностью к левитации или резким прыжкам вверх. Этим особенно славится наш дорогой Старк.

Кампания разбита на множество разных миссий. Помимо главных заданий, есть и побочные, в которых мы можем получить определённые бонусы или добыть секретные артефакты.

В игре присутствует несколько разных концовок, так что само прохождение зависит исключительно от игрока. Можно играть по сети или за одним компьютером (до 4 игроков одновременно). В игре более 140 персонажей. У каждого из них есть четыре костюма на выбор, один из которых стандартный, а три другие — специальные, которые надо разблокировать.

В плане сюжета здесь не менее интересно. Доктор Дум вместе с Альтроном, Локи и прочими злодеями планирует поработить галактику, а противостоят ему все известные нам супергерои. По ходу кампании мы можем посмотреть интересные и качественные видеоролики, тянущие на мини-фильмы.
