The game was first teased to be in development by Lucasfilm sound editor Matthew Wood at Star Wars Celebration Chicago. An announcement trailer premiered at E3 2019 during Microsoft’s press conference. In addition on December 20, 2019 LEGO announced a official trailer on the LEGO YouTube channel with a release date of 2020. There have been numerous «leaks» regarding release dates, ranging from the last week of April to the last week of June 2020.

In order to avoid spoilers for The Rise of Skywalker. Lucasfilm has not shared any story details with TT Games at the time of development, giving the team only Episodes I through VIII to work with.

Gameplay

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a third-person action-adventure with an open world hub built in a brand new engine. You will be able to play through all nine films but none of the others such as Rogue One, The Clone Wars, and Solo. They may add those as DLC. Unlike previous Lego games in which players had to advance through the story in a linear order, players can now choose to start the game from any of the main Skywalker Saga episodes and complete them in any order they wish. Each episode has their own hub filled with planets featured prominently in each respective film that can be visited and explored. Each episode will have five story missions each, a total of 45 levels. Once you have completed that level you will now have the option to take bounties on people and traveling to different planets.

Combat has also been revamped, such as lightsaber fights now involving a variety of combos with light attacks, heavy attacks, and force moves, and blaster characters having an over-the-shoulder camera angle featured in many third-person shooter games.

Random encounters will also happen in the game’s hub. For example, an Imperial Star Destroyer will suddenly jump out of hyperspace and send a fleet of TIE Fighters after the player. Players can choose to engage in dogfights with them or continue onward to progress the story. The game is rumored more then 200 playable characters and 400 characters in all (Which includes NPC’s), though TT Games has said that number will change. Some of larger vehicles will also be navigable inside such as the Death Star or the Millennium Falcon. The gold bricks as of all LEGO Games will be renamed to Kyber Bricks. New information has come out confirming 4 codes that will unlock Characters / Vehicles In-Game. Those 4 codes are «SIDIOUS», «SHUTTLE», «ARVALA7», and «WROSHYR». These codes will unlock Darth Sidious’s Death Star Final Duel appearance, the Resistance I-TS Transport, the Razor Crest, and the Christmas Sweater Darth Vader.

• Bounty Hunter Missions make their return from LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga and LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.
• This is the fourth LEGO game to not feature Gold Bricks as the main collectible, after Mithril Bricks in both LEGO The Lord of the Rings: The Video Game and LEGO The Hobbit: The Video Game, and Master Pieces in The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame. Kyber Bricks act as their replacement, however, and fulfill an identical role.
• The Deluxe Edition includes a special cover featuring Darth Vader (with and without his helmet), the Base Game, The Character Collection Bundle, and an exclusive Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk minifigure.
• The Character Collection Bundle includes 6 DLC Packs: The Mandalorian 1, The Mandalorian 2, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Classic Characters, and Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
• This will be the first LEGO game to use the NTT engine, as well as to be the first one released for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Start the game once and close it to allow the configuration file of Special K to be created. Open or depending on the installation method you used. Change to the desired frame rate cap (e.g. ). This value adjusts both the monitor’s refresh rate and the game’s maximum frame rate. Notes High frame rates can reduce jump height. This is most obvious at the beginning of Episode VI, Chapter 3 «Speeder Showdown». It is impossible to jump over the fallen tree.

Unused Characters

SanSweet

An unused character folder can be found within the game’s files by the name SanSweet. It has an unusually large collision box when loaded into the game, and every body part aside from hands and face are invisible. SanSweet can be used in-game if a copy of the BENKENOBI.TXT file is inserted into the character folder and renamed SANSWEET.TXT. When opened in model viewer Noesis (shown above), its colors are properly defined. Based on the name and appearance of the character, it can be assumed that it was meant to represent Steve Sansweet, owner of the largest collection of Star Wars memorabilia.

Spaceman

An unused character found in the game’s files by the name Spaceman. The character seems to just be a test character leftover from LEGO Star Wars The Video Game. The face mesh is unfinished as shown by the image above. Some other parts of the model seem to be slightly incorrect as evident by the hands.

В этой части собраны все каноничные события игры, которые происходили в фильмах. Поиграв в нее вы сможете лучше ознакомиться с этим замечательным миром. Игра вышла в честь30 летия знаменитой кино саги.

На уровнях посвященных всем 6 фильмам игрокам нужно будет разгадать не одну головоломку, в этом вам помогут 160 доступных персонажей. Каждый из которых обладает какой либо уникальной способностью. А при желании вы сможете собрать из деталек и своего героя. Все уровни наполнены юмором, пародиями и целыми сценами из фильмов. А в качестве бонусного персонажа доступен Индиана Джонс, другой знаменитый персонаж придуманный Джорджем Лукасом.

Эта игра настоящая дань памяти великих фильмов. Она выполнена людьми которым все это по настоящему дорого и поэтому играть в нее сплошное удовольствие.

Сюжет игры на этот раз состоит сразу из шести эпизодов, которые собственно составляли эпопею фильма Джорджа Лукаса. Однако, стоит иметь в виду, что они служат лишь декорациями и сюжетом, ведь всё остальное выполнено в качестве фигурок из набора ЛЕГО. Все сделано не просто так, так как это позволяет собрать в одном проекте сразу несколько десятков персонажей. На них можно не только смотреть, но и взять по свой личный контроль. На самом деле, все очень просто, и много ума для этого не надо, игру даже может пройти маленький ребенок, который до этого совсем не был знаком с компьютером

Стоит уделить особое внимание визуальному стилю, можно сразу заметить, что разработчики постарались и вложили много сил, он представляет собой настоящую сказку для глаз, демонстрируя яркие цвета и прекрасную картину

Большинство геймеров полюбили игру этой серии за свой незамысловатый игровой процесс. Он очень простой и не составляет трудности разобраться в нем. В Лего Звездные войны вы сможете насладиться любимой вселенной, которая оживает на ваших глазах. И снова разработчикам получилось превзойти самих себя, ведь под управление игрока попадает большое количество персонажей. Среди них будут ее только герои оригинальной трилогии, которая выходила в 80-х годах двадцатого века, но и современные начала двухтысячных.
