1944 год. Идет Вторая Мировая. Войска Союзников готовят высадку в Нормандии

Тем временем Винни Канноли сидит связанным, а двое мафиози разговаривают о событиях в Тагтауне и особой важности пленника для некоего «Тёмного Дона». Винни разрывает верёвки, убивает надсмотрщиков и выбирается прочь со склада

Он затем попадает в кинотеатр, как раз во время полицейской облавы. Оттуда он добирается до заброшенного аэродрома к Джо и рассказывает о Темном Доне.

По совету друга Винни отправился в Тагтаун, вокруг которого был выстроен карантин. Продравшись в метро через зомби и встретив впервые танков, он замечает в нём невесть откуда взявшихся нацистов и попадает в разрушенную лабораторию из первой части, где шла погрузка уцелевших емкостей с мутагеном на подводную лодку. Там находились Темный Дон (на лице которого был противогаз), немецкий генерал со своими солдатами и мафия. Винни начинает схватку с ними и наносит урон субмарине, которая смогла уплыть. ТД и генерал сбегают.

С целью узнать, зачем нацистам мутаген, Винни с Джо вылетают на B-17 в Нормандию, но из-за повреждения двигателя от зенитного огня ГГ выпригивает с парашютом — прямиком в десантый катер. Выбравшись с пляжа, он заходит в амбар, где находился тот же генерал. Как оказалось, Винни намеренно доставили в Европу, а Джо — агент нацистов. Убив генерала, протагонист пошел к Джо. Тот явно не намерен сдаваться и атакует Винни на «Тигре». Но танк не спасает Джо от возмездия — его уничтожают с помощью 88-мм зенитного орудия. Винни, перед разнесением Джо на куски с зенитки, узнает от последнего о том, что его кровь является антидотом от превращения в зомби.

Наш бравый мафиози двигается на нацисткую базу в горах, чей гарнизон отбивается от зомби. После тяжелых боёв он находит Темного Дона, коим ВНЕЗАПНО оказывается Фрэнки (да-да, он тогда в 1928 не погиб)! Шокированный Винни узнает о планах Фрэнки — он собирается заразить весь мир, а кровь ГГ позволит ему диктовать свои условия даже Гитлеру. Фрэнки садится в летающую тарелку и атакует Винни. Но нацисткие технологии не помогают ему выжить — Фрэнки падает в мясорубку. Протагонист садится после победы на другую тарелку и вылетает обратно в США, где терпит крушение в Роузулле.

Boss Fight (The Dark Don)[]

At the end of a large loading bay, after successfully wiping out the majority of the facility’s security, Vinnie uses a platform elevator to go up. The elevator ends in a massive hangar for experimental Haunebu-Vs, secret UFO-like aircrafts being developed by the Nazis and the Dark Don Test Facility. Vinnie is now standing atop an impossibly tall tower and while looking around, is startled by the distorted voice of the Dark Don, now aware of the presence of his nemesis. Frankie had been waiting for his arrival in his Dark Don outfit, standing on an opposing platform in from of one of his Haunebu-Vs.

The seemingly bottomless space in-between the two adversaries nor his machinery intimidate Vinnie, who promptly demands for the Dark Don to unmask himself, so he could view his «ugly mug» and «see eyes before put a bullet between them». Frankie does so, removing his gas mask and hat, revealing his identity to the baffled gangster, who merely responds quipping «My God, some turds really are too big to flush!». Frankie smugly remarks that Vinnie has retained his penchant for comedy and tells him that he had been plotting his revenge against Vinnie for his «little murderous outburst back in ’28» for the last decade and a half. Vinnie asks how someone like him became such a powerful figure in the Nazi hierarchy, which Frankie explains with him selling the Nazis the Zombie poison left in the Secret Lab in Thugtown, not only making him rich, but impressing them so much that they allowed him to join their ranks, likely unaware that the Zombie poison wasn’t his own creation. He further goes on to say that he doesn’t actually believe in the Nazi cause, having simply used them as paws to expand his power and resources, this time with plans for world domination in mind. Vinnie declares him insane, even more so than when they last met, saying that when the Allies take back Europe, they will have no problem dealing with Frankie’s troopers and have the wannabe-world dictator hanged for collaboration and war crimes. Frankie brushes his prediction off as nonsense, as once he has got a hold of Vinnie’s blood, and thusly the cure for the Zombie poison, all nations, including the US, will have to bend to his will. Frankie then activates a mechanism, turning the tower Vinnie is standing on into a giant mincer to harvest his body for his vital fluids.

Vinnie stays undeterred by the odds and battles Frankie, who is now using a heavily armed Haunebu-V, while he shoots at his aircraft on the remaining platform of the Harvesttower. Vinnie again manages to defeat Frankie by shooting off layer after layer of the UFO, jumping onto the nearly destroyed hovercraft when Frankie comes near the platform, nearly kicking him of it. He begs Vinnie to save him from certain doom, but his pleas are turned into pained squeals when Vinnie begins beating his face into a pulp. In the end, Frankie is pulled up by Vinnie, who then expectingly stares down at his foe, who now, nervously laughing, tries to play the whole charade off as a joke. Vinnie sarcastically calls it «freaking hysterical» and rhetorically asks him what else would be funny. Frankie’s face twists in horror as Vinnie answers his own question, saying that it will be Frankie’s girlish screams when he falls, picks him up by the straps of his leather coat and tosses him down to his death, finally killing him once and for all, as he is thrown into the saw pit, which shreds him into bloody bits and pieces. With the cowardly megalomaniac gone, Vinnie escapes from Germany with a Haunebu-V, eventually crash-landing in the little-known quaint desert town of Roswell, New Mexico in mid-1947.

History

In 1944, 16 years after the now so-called Thugtown Incident, it is revealed that he survived the fall by grabbing onto the blimp’s anchor and was able to jump to safety when it passed a building, then survived the gas by scavenging gas masks from the dead soldiers. Adopting the moniker of the «Dark Don», he took what remained of the Zombie poison, sold a sample to Nazi Germany, knowing they were looking to expand their arsenal and made a sizeable profit from selling it to the Nazis as a biological weapon, partnering with them in the process. 

Frankie, however, was not satisfied with laboring under the Fuhrer, feeling that their Third Reich was not in alignment to his own vision. He once again began scheming, this time having the goal of total world domination, by gathering his own army, spreading the Zombie poison globally and having all the world’s governments fall to their knees for him, as the sole owner of the antidote for the plague, thus becoming the most powerful man in the world. To complete the last part, however, he would need to find an immune subject to extract the basis for a cure. When a military report came in, concluding that Vinnie had an immunity, as he was exposed to the poison multiple times, but never got infected, Frankie became set on capturing his old acquaintance. Knowing that he needed Vinnie’s blood to create the antidote for the poison, while also mixing in personal revenge for trying to kill him, he assigns two of his henchmen of his own newly established crime family to kidnap and deliver Vinnie to him. He also puts a 10 million dollar bounty on Vinnie and pays Joe Barista, a friend of Vinnie’s, to discretely bring him to the Nazis.

His goons were able to temporarily secure him, but ended up failing to keep him imprisoned, so Frankie had to rely on his contingency plan to lure Vinnie into Thugtown. The next night, while overseeing the shipping of the last of the Zombie poison onto one of the Nazis’ U-Boot, Vinnie expectedly showed up, having been tricked by Joe to return to Thugtown. He, his posse of gangsters and his Nazi compatriots attempt to capture him, but fail after Vinnie destroys their vessel’s weaponry.

Following this repeated failure, Joe convinces Vinnie to join him on a flight to Europe, supposedly to help him track down the Dark Don and the Nazis. This once again works, but Vinnie turned out to be more of a handful than he remembered, so later in Germany, when the vengeful mobster finds out the truth, disposes of all his Nazi associates, his mob henchmen and his treacherous friend Joe, he goes to confront the Dark Don in a secret base in the Bavarian Alps, unaware that his meeting with the Dark Don would turn into a rather unexpected (and unpleasant) reunion.

Biography[]

Rusty has been a long-time citizen of Thugtown and remembers the days of Frankie the Fly’s younger years when he was still fledgling to become something more than just a paranoid wreck, apparently constantly getting «in trouble», which likely involved the local gangs, Thugtown authorities or, far back enough, schoolmates and kids from the neighborhood, either by messing with them or getting bullied by them.

Years later, in 1928, Rusty, still residing in Thugtown, now the proprietor of Rusty’s Pawn Shop, he was around for St. Patrick’s Day, «St. Patty’s» as he calls it, when the celebration came on the 17th of March and witnessed first-hand the initial Drunken Riots and later full-on chaos that befell the city, with the Army blocking all town exits and even the otherwise bold and prideful gangs bracing themselves for the worse. Thanks to his aversion to alcohol, at least towards the local variety, he was spared from the effects that other citizens who indulged in the binge-drinking weren’t, though Rusty himself couldn’t have any idea just how lucky he had been. He would spend the next weeks hiding inside his boarded up store in The Outskirts and The Back Alleys.

Some days before Vinnie’s arrival, Rusty ventured into Thugtown’s harbor, possibly to find a boat to escape on, when a horde of zombies forced him to climb atop a crane’s wrecking ball, also holding a catwalk platform with an attacked hook. Somehow, the zombies managed to wind up on the platform as well, trapping the poor gent in place indefinitely.

Biography[]

Not much is known about Frank’s life, other than that he had worked as an informant for the Chicago Police Department, for reasons unknown, possibly for money or for leniency regarding conviction for minor crimes he committed.

Before October 1928, he joined the Belluccio crime family prior to the events of Hell bent for Whiskey. Though distrusted and unpopular, probably due to his sniveling personality, he was tolerated by his colleagues, which he came to use to his advantage, as his being mostly overlooked by the gang, he could plan the next steps of his plan in quiet.

Unbeknownst to them, he was working for the Costelli Gang, a rival family, having either purposely infiltrated their midst or betrayed them when he was given the opportunity, be it by his own doing and thinking or with an incentive by the Costellis.

It is presumed that he is the one responsible for the two previous acts of sabotage that struck Belluccio’s Whiskey and Beer, or that he was at least involved or knew of them priorly.

On the night of October 8th, 1928, Frank was once again contacted by his employers and met with them in Costelli’s Bar, likely to rehearse the plan and/or to be given the bundle of explosives. He then goes to the last Belluccio’s Whiskey and Beer brewery and hides the bomb beneath a pipe, setting the detonator to a few minutes, enough to get away from the blast radius by car. Unfortunately for him, he was spotted by two Belluccio members, who followed after him in their own car.

Boss Fight (Frankie The Fly)[]

Frankie utilises everything he has starting by shooting at him with a Lupara and a Tommy Gun, while lobbing grenades. Once hit enough times, he will jump onto the blimp and shoot at him with the blimp’s weaponry, but all to no avail, as Vinnie weakens him enough and jumps him as he tries to flee with the blimp. After beating him savagely, Frankie pleads for Vinnie to spare him, reasoning that he is the only one who can operate the blimp. Vinnie simply replies that he’ll figure it out on his own, sarcastically asks how he thinks he’ll fly without the blimp and throws Frankie out into the gassed city. He falls down screaming, which ceases as an audible splat is heard. Vinnie reflects on the events of this night and concludes that in the end, Frankie had been proven right, as there were no more witnesses to speak of and underhandedly admits Frankie’s plan «wasn’t actually all that bad», as he successfully flies out of Thugtown with Mr. Belluccio’s fortune.

Подходит против противников с щитами. Цhaинcаw (бензопила) – кровавый аналог биты с ограниченным количеством боеприпасов. Используется в основном ради истошных криков Винни.Pисtoл(c) – один пистолет с 10 патронами и бесконечным боезапасом плюс два пистолета с 20 и ограниченным боезапасом.Маусер (Маузер К96) – сверхмощный немецкий самозарядный пистолет на шесть выстрелов, при попадании в голову пуля цепляет цель позади пораженной. Убивает большинство целей с одного выстрела. Интересно, что главный герой держит его между ног, когда целится вниз. Shotgyн – совершенно обычный дробовик, стреляющий веером и отбрасывающий слабаков. Sцhmэиссер (Schmeisser) – судя по всему, что-то вроде MP 38/40. Магазин на 30 патронов, стильный вид и приятный звук. Достаточно мощное оружие.TommyГун (Пистолет-пулемёт Томпсона) – ничем не отличается от другого автоматического оружия, кроме как внешним видом. 25 зарядов и стильный барабан.Stypmgewehp (Sturmgewehr) – любимый многими автомат Шмайссера. Всё те же 25 патронов. Все три модели оружия отличаются только звуком и внешним видом.Fлamethpower (Огнемет) – то, что доктор Ганс прописал для решения любых проблем. Прекрасная непрерывная струя огня, дополнительная анимация смерти, проникновение сквозь текстуры (баг, конечно же). Тяжело промазать, сложно не влюбиться, быстро кончается, перезарядки не требует. МГ42 – одно из немногих человеческих названий. Сошек нет. Аналог огнемета, но с пулями. Отталкивает многих противников, иногда задевает сквозь текстуры.Poцкеt Layнцheр – не самое полезное, но относительно мощное оружие для уничтожения масс (огнемет лучше) или укрепленных объектов (маузер лучше). Гренаde Layнцheр (гранатомёт) – еще одно сомнительное оружие. Сойдет для рокет-джампов, суицида, выстрелов в труднодоступные места рикошетом. 6 зарядов. Последние два ствола пригодятся в против боссов из-за низкой скорострельности, точности и сильно ограниченного боезапаса.

Sonny Bonnino is a middle-aged Italian-American man with slicked-back black graying hair and thick eyebrows. He dons a long-sleeved hot pink polo shirt, belted white pants and black and white shoes. He wears a golden chain underneath his shirt and carries a large revolver of unknown make inside a shoulder holster. He is a physically imposing individual, not only his broad-shouldered frame and his standing around a head taller than Vinnie in-game, but also appearing even bulkier than in the cutscenes when fought, sharing height and build with any Bruiser type enemy, as well as showing remarkable agility and athleticism for his age.

Hell bent for Whiskey[]

Frank is seen driving his car at night during rainfall at high speed, causing it to crash, landing off-road below the side of the bridge, near the edge of the Chicago River. As he climbs out of the wreckage, he is blinded by another car’s headlights and sees two armed figures exit the vehicle. Upon drawing his gun, one of the men tells him to drop his weapon. The silhouetted individuals turn out to be local gangsters Vinnie and Paulie, who had apparently been chasing after him.

The mobsters begin questioning him about his alleged ties to the Costelli gang. Frankie maintains his innocence, but Paulie tells him to quit the act, as they had seen him leaving the Costellis’ bar that night. Frankie frantically claims that it wasn’t him who left the speakeasy, but is countered by Vinnie, who demands to instead know what he had been doing at the Belluccio Brewery this late. Frank tells them that he was checking up on the brewery to make sure no one was messing with the machinery, but is shot down in his explanation by Vinnie, who, still skeptical, threatens Frank with dire consequences if they found out that he was lying. Just as Frank affirms to be aware of repercussion, the Belluccio brewery explodes, having been destroyed by a timed stack of dynamite secretly planted by Frankie. All three observe the blast, clearing it beyond a shadow of a doubt that Frank was the traitor. The duo angrily stare at Frankie, who sheepishly shrugs. He is shot dead by the two and left by the river, where he is found the following day.

His death is published in the next day’s issue of the Chicago Daily Tribune, stating that he was found floating in the river, riddled with «over 20 bullets», fired from a Thompson machine gun, of the make 1928. They make note of his affiliation with the Belluccio mob, citing it as another death connected to the Booze War between the Costellis and the Belluccios. The paper also reveals his full name, along with his byname, «the Snitch», and that he was, fittingly, once an informant for the police.
